Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

Looks like ND ain't all that. Lost to Marshall. That puts us in a different persective IMHO.
UGA beat Clemson 10-3 in their first game last. They still won the NC, and Clemson had an off year with 10 wins. I could still see ND getting to 9 or 10 wins at seasons end. And with them being ND, the committee still trying to get them in a NY6 bowl

Yes, I know, but I still am looking at the Buckeyes a bit differently. Glad for the win today. Looks like Harrison Jr. may turn into a really good WR.

Not sure why you’re looking at the Buckeyes any differently. UGA won the NC, but after week1, many thought they didn’t have the offense to win it all, with a sub par QB. OSU has one of the top 2-3 best QBs in CFB. Our defense isn’t to the level of UGA’s, but few have been in the history of CFB. We’ll be fine. Just win every week.

Do you look at Bama differently for almost losing to UT(when they were favored by a ton)? Do you look at Clemson different for almost losing to GA Tech last week?

Didn't surprise me at all (was my upset pick). It's called the post big game hangover, and really common in the first weeks of the season. Win or lose it's common to see a drop-off after you spend weeks preparing and pour everything you have into a week 1 game. Especially if you have an easier team the following week when it was Marshall's super bowl. Getting the team through that and preparing for the next game is 90% on the coaches and 10% on the captains. Lesson learned and if he's gonna make it Freeman won't let that happen in the future.

Oh, so you have a problem with me looking at them 'differently' now based on some developments...lol. Why am I looking at them differently today? Because I can and the reason is obvious. Bragging of beating them was based upon how good they are (or were supposed to be) from Ryan and others, and how tough we are now, that we beat a #5 &c. That doesn't appear to be the case because they aren't a very good team at all. IF they were what Ryan and others expected then I'd look at it the same I did earlier, but that changed today. It is a whole new persepctive now.

Yes, I do, both Bama and Texas, which could change as the year goes on.

Nope.
