Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

Oh, so you have a problem with me looking at them 'differently' now based on some developments...lol. Why am I looking at them differently today? Because I can and the reason is obvious. Bragging of beating them was based upon how good they are (or were supposed to be) from Ryan and others, and how tough we are now, that we beat a #5 &c. That doesn't appear to be the case because they aren't a very good team at all. IF they were what Ryan and others expected then I'd look at it the same I did earlier, but that changed today. It is a whole new persepctive now.

I never buy preseason ND hype.

fuck no. then we'd probably have freeman as a DC instead of Knowles.

Freeman would have stayed at ND with Fick this year. We still would have hired Knowles.

But yeah, Notre Dame's legendary arrogance bit them in the ass once again. If they'd have agreed to let Fick stay with his team and coach them in the playoffs, they could have had him. Instead, they pompously demanded that he abandon his team a'la Kelley (what goes around comes around, doesn't it, domers?), and Fick had too much integrity to go along.

Hate to see it.
