Ridiculous.
I know ND isn't too highly thought of in these parts, but the vast majority of 5th round picks get signed for less than $500k and play special teams/scout team in their first couple of seasons - all in an effort to develop skill and increased football acumen.


Are you seriously saying you won't take Manti in the 5th round for 500k-League Min? He's not going to be THAT big of a distraction.

I agree. He's really screwed the pooch that was his career. Of course, if he hadn't had all these problems, I still think a highlight reel of his short pro career would look a lot like his last game at ND.
