They're doubling down on the outstanding character of Te'o as proof of all of the ridiculous things they are trying to BS their way through right now. :lol:

I think that ship has sailed everywhere outside of the true South Bend believers.

Edit: the dude at the podium just had to pause to fight back (fake) tears when talking about the "saddest part of the whole situation" :lol:
