Watching Alabama, its funny how they're branded playing "SEC ball". Imo, Alabama looks and plays no different than Wisconsin, only difference Is their team is littered with 4-5star athletes. They surround an average QB with top flight RBs, a bruising Oline to pound on the opposing defense and use a hard nosed defensive front 7. With the biggest difference is alabama usually has better and more athletic DBs than Wisky. Other than that, even the best Alabama teams resembled Wisky. The difference this year, is Lane Kiffin getting cute and trying to Bama into USC of the south and try and balance the Tide out offensively and run more pro /complicated schemes with a QB that's not really QB. Alabama this year was built all on past reputation. And honestly out of the top 4 playoff teams, I think Alabama was the worst, I think Oregon would've beaten them by more than 2tds and FSU would've played them close. The best 2 teams are in the NC. The spread offense has made the vaunted Alabama defense fall down a few notches. They're best defense is using their RBs to control the clock

I agree with your post here ( especially at end of your post.) The second quarter had me worried as I watched Bama's running backs shredding our defense. Derrick Henry is an absolute monster of a running back and Yeldon was right behind him. Then for some reason Lane Kiffin simply forgot about the running game. You were right on Pnuts. Could have been a different game if bama had stuck with that game plan.......

What I also noticed after rewatching the Sugar Bowl, is that if Cardale had been just a little more accurate, this game would've been a blowout. He overthrew Devin on a few throws where Devin clearly had his man beat by a wide margin, and had Corey Smith fought a little harder or the ball was placed a little more outside, we have another late 4th quarter TD. Splitting hairs, and I'm no doubt elated over what Cardale has done the last 2gms. But just imagine the accuracy of a healthy JT in this game, and we run away with this one. And that just comes with game reps

True, but the suspect DBs Alabama has this year would get eaten alive by Marriotta. And Sims is prone to turnovers which doom every team to lose to Oregon because they can score so fast. Sabean's Achilles heel is fast tempo offenses, auburn was an above average team and almost beat them, if you let Sabean set up he'll kill you. And if Lane continues to rely on Sims instead of their RBs, Oregon would also blow them out

Fully agreed. EzE has to be grinning at this NC matchup. He tore up the biggedt and best defenses in the country (MSU, UW, and Bama), and our Oline has played at their highest level as the season has progressed
