Question...does anyone know much about Jamar Martin the former OSU FB...he just worked out for the bills but I don't know much about him...any information would be helpful

Yea, if you would listen to your tv on saturdays when he was blocking you would hear him crack the others guy's pads. Fierce blocker, can't believe he hasn't caught on with an NFL team as a true big blocking fullback.

he is always hurt in the NFL. Hard to stay on as a FB if you are on IR all the time. Martin is a beast of a blocker.

Ya, I knew he was with Dallas for a short amount of time a couple years ago, I think that is who drafted him but I have lost track of him since then.

Let's see if the Pats can get this guy to acutally play. When he was actually healthy, he lacked the determination to play all out every down.

That was what Bengals fans said about Corey Dillon too (it seems to have been a problem over the years in Cincy)... The Pats have had a fairly decent track record of accomplishing this sort of thing... Washington will get the opportunity to be one of 5 WR's rotated in and out situationally for the Pats, and the only one with really good size... I know the Pats thought about drafting him originally, so they thought they'd give him a chance to come in and provide a different dimension in the WR corps...

I wouldn't say that has been as much of a problem since Marvin took over. There are always going to be those guys on any club, even your precious pats.

There are many times a change of scene will do a guy good. He was buried on our depth chart when he felt he had the talent to succeed. He'll get a chance to succeed in an club with a proven track record for turning guys around.
