I should be able to use the code online as well as in store.
They eliminated the passcode process, probably due to it's WILD popularity. /sarcasm

What they need to do is drop the console shit and release games for consoles that have a following. I want to play Mario and Zelda games but I'll never buy another Nintendo console

The rumored spec sheet for this "new" Nintendo concept is nothing to sneeze at. IGN Was saying that if Nintendo did go through with the console that even if they were unable to get it out until later part of 2015 that the internals would still be consider newer gen and not outdated. Look at what Sony flaunted over Xbox with Flops generated, Nintendo would produce a considerably better number if this was all to hold true. My take: not going to happen.
On a side note, if this did happen, how would Sony and MS respond? Do fan boys go into panic mode? Could Sony and MS take being perceived as a second and third place power machines? Perception seems very important to the big dogs.

Then what's going to happen? Remember this is the same company that came up with the D-Pad and the thumbsticks. Innovation is the pinnacle of evolution, and no company is more steeped in innovation than Nintendo. Might be late, but I think it will definitely happen.

IMO it's too early. Eventually I think they will do something, but right now they are bleeding money and have a surpluses of their most recent system that they are struggling to move. I not sure they can even afford to do all this within 1 calendar year. 3-5 years down the road, then maybe.

Just bought a Wii U Deluxe with the two mario games, Mario 3d world and the new Donkey Kong Country game. I feel like I'm in second grade again.

It's funny, but Sony markets their products better, cause I don't know a single adult that has bought a Nintendo console since the 64. I said it earlier in this thread, but Damn do I wish Nintendo would drop out of the console business and start making Zelda, Mario, and other franchises for the popular consoles. I'm dying to play another Legend of Zelda, but I'll never own another NES.
