ND/Weis various topics

OSU is a state school with it's fans either living in Ohio, from Ohio or go to OSU! Thats it! ND is a national school with a huge Catholic following and huge fan bases in Cal, FL, NY etc.
keep repeating it, then it might be true... I'm sure 50,000 OSU graduates ALL stay in ohio :roll2:

I did not grow up in ohio, did not attend OSU, and was raised by Spartan parents.

Hehe, are you serious? I'm as passionate about my Bucks as anyone in Ohio and I've grown up on the west coast my entire life. There are Buckeye fans all over the U.S. Can you atleast use something to support your argument?

Yet OSU was easily able to outnumber ND fans in Tempe, which should be closer to their huge "national" fan bases on the West coast, while all the OSU fans had to travel cross-country. Even though ND was in another "return to glory" while OSU fans had already been to Tempe 2 of the previous 3 years. Solid argument there.

Yeah, but the subway system in Arizona sucks, and that's the only way their alumni travel.

Fone one Harris polls are nationaly recognized polls, heck you could find fault with every single poll there is. The TV contract was never in danger.

Harris polls are nationally recognized, but that doesn't make their interactive online polls valid.

This is the problem with some people and their lack of math/stats knowledge. Harris conducts good scientifically valid polls, yet also does these "funtime" polls online that has no validity, and some people see the Harris name and believe that it is valid.

One last time Chiefy, it is an online poll which is not statistically valid from the get go. Steve made numerous other points illustrating the flaws in the poll, but the fact that it is not a random sample (being online), is the first thing a true statistician would notice and dismiss it summarily.

Bullshit. NBC was considering not renewing the contract back in 2004 or so.

That's about the most blatantly ignorant post I've ever read here...you're yet again bordering on flaming.

Actually those are three areas OSU does pretty well in too...lots of OSU Alumni in those states and we do pretty well there, I'm sure ND is tops in the NY area, but they aren't exactly known for their love of collegiate athletics

Of course, we also have Tempe on our list of fan bases outside of the region

. I also have a TV contract and the media darlings of America.

You sure do have your own TV contract, too bad that it relegates you to having the absolute worst team of broadcasters and the shittiest coverage of any major football team.
