I've tried 2 games with the sliders. The first game my 7 year old played with me, so I didn't really mind that my RBs didn't do well (he usually does the running plays).
It seems like the game plays pretty fair until I get a 2 touchdown lead. Then I've seen some BS (1-handed int by a LB jumping in front of my WR when the LB was trailing!?!) until the game gets tied back up again.
Both games my WRs could barely get off the line. They were consistently jammed and then I'd get sacked because I haven't had many open receivers. By the time they get free from their jams, the DBs are still running step-for-step with them. Additionally, play action passes have worked poorly, as they've hit my QBs before making it through the fake hand off sequence. And this is with OSU and Clemson QBs, so it's not an issue of having slow QBs or terrible OLs.
And defensively, I've seen CPU WRs running with my DBs trailing by 5 yards, even when I've called a pass defense and guessed pre-play pass.
I haven't played enough to have an alternative solution to put forth, but I'm thinking I might want to try some AA sliders for comparison sake.
But like I've said, I've only played a few games, so I'm not certainly not clamoring for us to change at this time.
Are other people seeing similar things or are you guys having different (ie. better) gameplay experiences with these sliders?
