Found a money play for the over pursing SOB's online..QB/FB option in the Wishbone kills it. The triple option offense is a lot of fun to run with tOSU if you havent tried it yet.

I haven't noticed the defense guessing much (the Techmo Bowl tidal wave of defenders when guessing the right run play), but they do pinch their lines, creep up to the LOS, dropoff if you audible, etc. It's harder to run the same sets repeatedly.

I notice it. It's nuts. Instead of having an awareness boost or something rise when the defense guesses, they Tecmo it. If you guess a run to the left, the entire front seven will sprint off the line and blow by their blockers to that side. If you guess right, it's an instant tackle for loss. It even looks like a Tecmo Bowl defense.

You should know that... you saw me do that plenty to you

On the flip side... you guess wrong and your secondary is dead to rights (if you guess run plays) as when I played Olaf his only TDs were long pass plays where I was 99% sure he was going to run and he killed my out of position secondary for easy TDs.

No kidding.

You know what sucks? It hampers you if you're opponent's QB is a lower classman. Here's an example. In my game against Piney, I wanted to key on the guy he ALWAYS throws it to. Unfortunately for me, when I tried to do that, his guy usually had a question mark above him. That's because Piney put in a lower classman as his QB, the game was an away game for him, and that's how it would have looked if Piney called up the pre-play option. So instead of keying on that guy, I either guessed for a pass or I keyed on on the other guy playing the same position. And it worked. Stupid.

You've noticed the computer doing this to you, or you've noticed yourself or another user doing it?

Which TE was that? I love me some TEs in this game. One reason I picked Georgia (and UCLA) they have multiple TEs on each team that are usefull. The sick part is I am redshirting a frosh TE on Georgia with 81 OVR with 88 speed :wink2: That is how deep I am at TE. That reminds me... I really have to work on getting AJ Green and my other WRs in the game.

The one lined up on the right. The one one the left had an L1 above him. The one on the right always had a question mark. I could never key on him.

That would explain why that guy was always blanketed as he was really my first option. Then the guy on the right was my 2nd option. Bastard

Was he? Heh, lucky. Yeah, I keyed on the L1 TE quite often. Of course, it doesn't quite make up for my running back's -5 yards per carry average.

What can I say... I was really good at Tecmo Bowl back in the day :paranoid:
