I just won my first two games online, one against Maryland that I was up 31-0 at half when they other player quit, he didn't seem to know that running out of the pocket with your QB, especially an immobile one, doesn't work as well as it used to.

Then I beat LSU 23-14, it was a good game but he also quit when I intercepted a pass late in the 4th.

I have never really played online before but now I am addicted, it is so much more intense than regular play against the computer.

I am 2-7 now, which I partly blame on my roommate.

Playing as Ohio State is pretty tough because other players usually pick a top team to match up against you rather than picking a team that is evenly matched. I have played several games against Oklahoma and USC down to the wire only to lose in the last seconds.

Anyways, thumbs up on this years game, I am really liking it a lot.

Here's a few nice plays from the first game I played online in which I won 67-0. It includes a user pick 6 by Cameron Heyward! Pretty much went to the the pistol with Boom and Zoom. Also ran a little power option play with Berry at QB that's almost impossible to stop.

I think they're more realistic. I've had a few nice PA Passes work because the CB bit hard on the PA while others failed because the CB was playing the pass the whole time.

Another online defensive masterpeice.

My opponent starts off as USC, so I decided to switch it up this time and go LSU for some power run game. He goes to OU, dandy. He's 5-3 I'm 7-3 (8-3 now) So its pretty even.

I dont want to give a play by play, so I'll give his stats.

8 First Downs, 179 yards of TOTAL offense
11 rushes for 30 yards
9-17 passing for 117 yards with 1 TD and 2 INT's.

Me?

20 First Downs, 415 yards of TOTAL offense
36 rushes for 242 yards (combined between 2 HB's, QB and couple WR jets)
12-20 passing for 133 yards with 1TD 0 INTS

Pounded the ball, chewed the clock, ball control passing (couple deep shots) and lights out defense with exotic blitzing. 1st play from scrimmage was a 71 yard HB counter for a TD. :biggrin:

28-10 W

Love the online start. :biggrin:

Just beat a crying little bitch who was using Miami(Big Surprise) in double OT 31-28. He was crying because I put Berry at Qb for 1 play in which I burned his @ss on a option play that went for an 80 yard TD. I used him at QB because I couldnt even get a handoff to the Hb with that D-line crashing the middle BS. I was tackled at least 5 times in the backfiled before I could get the handoff to the HB. ANyone else think the D-line crash in is unrealistic? Hopefully they put a patch out for it.

Here here...just because you know where someone is running the ball doesn't make you gain superpowers. Honestly, they should have just fine-tuned d-line audible as oppossed to adding a whole new pre-play guess where they're going.

They need to program in actual physics and momentum instead of animations. Pre-play guesses right don't turn the team into supermen, but it does send the unit in that direction... which is the perfect time to call a counter or bootleg. Yet some the time the DT is sacking the QB when he's still a yard or two from the RB.

I'm thinking this play I just pulled off is probably gonna go down as the best in NCAA 2010.

Yeah, I'd be pissed if you did that to me, too. Well, it depends. If you put Berry in as part of a "HB at QB" package then it's no biggie. If you said, "The hell with it. He's kicking my ass so I'm putting my HB at QB on the depth chart," then that's something else altogether.
