Friend of mine was playing as Tejas' I was playing as OSU.

I line up, goal line, Strongside Power O. Fullback picks up his block and I break another. I'm stretching to the right and I'm going to turn it up into the endzone. I'm out 4 yards away from the goal line when I suddenly "run" into a "wall" I take an immediate right turn and head promptly out of bounds for a gain of 1 instead of the touchdown it should have been.

It's happened a couple times so far.

I have had a few more, but havent been able to reproduce them yet.

Edit: That said, its NOT 09. But it isn't quite where it needs to be yet.

You should report this at OS' **Official Bugs And Glitches Thread**

I haven't seen that error reported there, and I've read through the whole thread.

Plus the option pitch mechanics...while better...still need sometuning. You had a very late pitch for your first TD.
Yup, but you did have my left side wrapped up, and he pitched right. So far I haven't seen much of the 'option throw through a defender body wrapping you up' like 09.
I love how they fixed the ball trajectory when passing.
Yup one drive I tried to fire a bullet and the DB sitting just past the LOS snagged the pick. The next drive I used more touch and my back went for 6 points (but only because of pre-pass jostling for position).

I've played a few games on Heisman difficulty. Sliders definitely need to be adjusted. The biggest flaw that jumps out is the the CPU's canny ability to convert third downs, no matter the distance. I was playing against Iowa in my OSU dynasty and the CPU went 10-10 on third and long. This is not an exaggeration. I've played other games with various teams and opponents and the outcome is pretty much the same.

Iron, early on you mentioned you saw a ton of injuries. I've seen guys go down for scrapes and bruises, but so far I've only had one guy (Berry) miss any significant time due to injury.

Recruiting seems to be a lot easier this year in terms of getting commitments. I'm having far too much success getting commitments the week of official visits.

Is there any way to turn off the awful panning camera?

When you roll out and get to the sideline, it really messes with the angles. plus, if you rollout left and throw deep to the left, it is sometimes off camera for a second or two as it pans back to the normal angle.

I haven't had that big of an issue with defense, except that I don't know how to tackle anymore. I guess I did a lot more dive tackling, than even I realized. All of my games have been pretty low scoring. Although, most of those games have been with me running the flexbone, and that really chews up the clock.

The "injuries" that I was noticing were just guys missing a play or two. Most of the problem that I had with guys sitting out the entire game may have been due to my subbing patterns, and what is supposedly a new progressive fatigue. Players get more and more tired as the game goes along, and you can actually wear out a defense. The problem with my sub pattern is that I had RBs and DL sub out at 99 and back in at 100. After a certain number of plays, they never make it back to 100% energy, and therefore, never come back into the game.

Exactly...the game designer is stated as saying that if you set sub out at 90 and in at 95 you'll get a much more realistic rotation.

How many thousands of CFB fans would gladly review their rosters and list all of the errors for them in April? Patches should be for players who transfer in June or are kicked out of school, not due to gross negligence.
