2025 NC OL David Sanders Jr. (Tennessee Signee)

Certainly would take the edge off of tOSU recruiting to have 2-3 5*s commit, plus a couple of 4*s as well this week end. Probably isn't in the cards, but can certainly hope. Unfortunately, a verbal commitment doesn't mean as much these days, and these schools going after commits don't hesitate. Kinda like negotiations, in that once a number is reached (speaking about NIL $), then that becomes the floor and escalates from there. What 18 year old wouldn't be bedazzled by a Lambo and $25,000 a month, plus a free education, room and board? Hopefully these young people have someone older, wiser, and more savvy to help them understand the long term implications of what they're doing. Not sure if I'm trying to convince them or myself with this rant....Go Bucks! PS, don't know how a 6'8" OT would fit into a Lambo. I cannot, and I'm only 6'6".

Wiltfong on Sanders:
Wanting to major in sports medicine and orthopedics, Sanders visit included a tour of the hospital where he met with some doctors on campus. He had his 1-on-1s with nutrition and strength department and checked all the boxes of what he wanted to see one more time.

Now it’s a waiting game with Sanders but there are folks that spent time with him that feel OSU is in front. The visit also included time spent with Day and offensive line coach Justin Frye as well.

One might throw in John Frank MD as well. Understand he's a physician in SF. Certain (?) that if grades are up to snuff, that he might slide into a tOSU medical school class after his NFL career is exhausted.

Per 11w poster:
Wow Ohio State went crazier than I expected with David Sanders Jr. official visit, kudos to everyone involved. His dad absolutely gushed about the visit and said the family loved everything about it.

His dad said the prize of the visit was meeting the dean of medicine because Sanders Jr. wants to get into medicine after football.

He took the trip with his parents and 3 little sisters and one of his little sisters loves volleyball so the staff had the volleyball team come meet her and they gave her a tour of the volleyball facility.

Really shows how official visits are about recruiting the family as much as the player.
Makes sense why the OSU WVB team was making tweets and IG posts about Sanders. Wow, the coaches went far more in depth than I could've realized

Wanted to add, per Rivals poster:
David Sanders' dad says expect a mid-August decision.

Don't expect to hear much of anything from him until then.

Any reports from now until decision will just be click seeking.
