Just sayin': scUM SUCKS and they always will; but they do have an interesting twist in their NIL program (i.e. Champions Circle) that I will say paid off" for them this season. Maybe it is something Ohio State might want to copy.

Michigan NIL collective launches campaign for ‘One More Year’ with star players

Jan 8, 2023

Valiant Management, an organization that provides Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for Michigan athletes, wants to encourage some of the football team’s biggest stars to return for another season with the Wolverines.

The One More Year Fund, launched Sunday afternoon, is a crowdfunding campaign “designed to retain key Michigan football players” who might otherwise declare for the 2023 NFL Draft. That list includes running back Blake Corum, wide receiver Cornelius Johnson, left guard Trevor Keegan and right guard Zak Zinter.

In a message to The Michigan Insider, Valiant Management described the One More Year Fund as follows:

As one of the officially supported collectives of the University of Michigan Athletic Department, Valiant Management Group is launching the One More Year Fund, a crowdfunding campaign designed to retain key Michigan football players like Blake Corum, Trevor Keegan, and Zak Zinter. Fans have the option to donate any amount of money, but those who donate over $5,000 will receive exclusive donor benefits. Donations go directly to the One More Year Fund which is a dedicated NIL fund for key football players who return for the 2023 season and a run at the National Championship. 100% of fund proceeds go to the players. Valiant’s goal is to raise as much money as possible, no donation is too big or too small. Help Valiant show the players how much the Maize and Blue faithful appreciate them and want them back in the winged helmet next year.

Valiant says its goal is “to raise as much money as possible to increase the likelihood that all key members of the Michigan football team return for the 2023 season.” The organization says 100% of proceeds will go to returning football players.

Corum would be a god damn moron to come back. He was already an idiot for coming back this year when his stock was at a all time high

I think his stock has actually dropped this year, and I wouldn't be surprised if he considered coming back, tbh... He can get another 20TDs next year by being the goal line RB, and be one of the faces of CFB. He's not an NFL caliber RB, IMO. He's Mike Hart 2.0

I agree that he’s had a worse year and he’s probably not going to be very good in the NFL, but his line is probably going to be much worse next year and this is a pretty weak RB draft so he’s playing with fire if he stays.

I see your point, but he strikes me as one of those college players who enjoys college a lot. And with NIL, he may be a player who the NFL is a pay cut for him compared to what he'd make in Ann Arbor
But I can see either scenario.

That's what I meant. He was getting hiesman hype last year. He was an idiot to come back this year but I guess going for another run can be a draw. But next year? NCAA issues hanging over their head tons of players gone running even more tread off the tires for that? He'd be a moron to do that I don't care how much you'd love college

Awesome. I just bought the Platinum pack. As soon as I get a Marv card, I wont open another pack and put it in a case to keep it from any damage. He's going to end up the new Jerry Rice in the NFL
