More driving pet-peeves...

when someone stops in the middle of the intersection.... and then backs up instead of just running the light. To top it off they will then LEAVE THEIR CAR IN REVERSE and then hit the gas when the light turns green proceeding to almost hit the car behind them.

Went backing out of a parking spot, put down your fucking cell phone and look both ways as you slowly back out. Don't just gun it making me slam on My brakes and nearly hit you!!!!!!

I almost tatooed a ram's head into my neighbors new benz the other day because of this. Backing out of the driveway without looking... Someone should probably let him know that wearing docksiders with no socks went out about 1986. :shake:

I was delivering some crates today to Urbana which were taller than the top of our stake bed truck and the straps barely reached to be fastened. So I decided to take it carefully on the way there. I stayed in the slow lanes following semi's most of the time doing 55. well right after the 142 exit for plain city some fucking guy in a pickup gets right on my ass (talking on his cell phone) for a good 5 miles he stays on my ass like I'm smoe kind of $5 dollar hooker. So I decide to get over in the middle lane so he would get off my fucking ass. As soon as I change lanes he comes flying past me all the way over to the far left lane giving me the bird because apparently he was getting off his phone and wanted to play mario andretti again. I so wished those straps gave out after he was giving me the 1 finger salute that nice new silverado would of had some front end damage that would of made it a little harder to play speed racer anymore.

it's been awhile, but the exit for 161 off of 270? i believe. the on-ramp is in the same loop as the off ramp. when i worked for rocky fork landscaping, we would be hauling a twenty foot trailer and have to get off... talk about dangerous.

That whole interchange has been completely torn up for well over a year now, and it isn't scheduled to be completed until sometime in 2007. The traffic pattern changes roughly every other day, with a variety of lane closures and all sorts of merging disasters... Don't get me started.

Can we add ODOT road construction projects that inexplicably take 4 years to complete to the list of pet peeves?

I'll give you an example, the on ramp to I-70 in Zanesville only has about a 40 ft. area to merge and with the big semis driving in the right hand lane, sometimes you have to stop.

There's been people killed at that spot who just went ahead and merged and got run over.

Moron! (Not you, Thump)

Some dipshit decided to stop in the middle of 70W at this exit yesterday so that they could let someone (who had stopped in the merge area) onto the highway. You cannot just stop in the middle of the friggin' freeway!!!! Needless to say, I left some of my wife's tires on the freeway slamming on the brakes to avoid hitting the dumbass.

Wow, that was dumb, there's a sign right before that exit going East bound and west bound that "Through traffic stay in the left lane."

Do you agree with how small that merge area is?

Absolutely. It may be longer than 40 feet, but it sure as hell is NOT long enough to get up to 55+ mph in order to merge.
It is absolutely the worst ramp that I have experienced.

I tried to get in the left lane as we entered Zanesville, but I was only doing about 56-58 and everyone was flying by in the left lane at 65-70, preventing me from getting over and leaving me stuck behind Dopey McDipshit.
