When you are talking $80M there will always be a lawsuit; however, I do think the school should win this one:

The school, however, said the actions Tucker acknowledged were unprofessional and unethical. It told Tucker he is being fired for “breaches” in his contract and for engaging “in any conduct which constitutes moral turpitude or which, in the university’s sole judgement, would tend to bring public disrespect, contempt or ridicule upon the university.”

All I can say is that I graduated from MSU so I have no choice but to ride this debacle out.
I am very old school in that you have to be a fan from where you are from. But I am beginning to wonder if I should get some graduate degree from say tOSU so I have have a legit "choice" in fandom.

I am pretty convinced that a Rose Bowl every 20-30 years is our lot in life. We keep thinking we are not that program and yet we are that program.......:beer::beer::pissed::pissed:

I kept telling my buddies during the Dantonio years that we were going to be talking about him in 20 years at the tailgates as we sucked down our beers and talk about the grand old days. As we suffer through another 6-6 season.

Let me just say only MSU could have a HC that ADMITS to spanking the monkey on the record while the University is still paying people for the Nassar BS. And what is worse is he acts like it is no big deal. And lets be clear, if we was joe shmoo and was doing this no one would care or really have issue. Tucker wants to be the HC and king of MSU but then be able to just act like a 12 year old. It is literal madness.
What is even more crazy is some people on the MSU message board feel he is being screwed over. And sure if MSU went 11-2 last season I am sure this would have gotten worked out way before things got this far. But when you are paid 10M a year to win and you do not win you better believe they will be looking for ways to exit that contract and he gave them an opening and MSU took that shot.

Not to change the subject, and I pretty much agree with you (I grew up in Columbus, but moved to Cleveland for school and then just stayed in Cleveland after school). But what if you grow up in South Dakota or Montana? or Maine or Vermont? Are you doomed to have no college football team?
