Michigan State Spartans (official thread)

If he has said provocative photo she sent and/or they can tell she didn’t hang up for over 36 minutes or whatever….you’d think his lawyers will have a field day.
This bitch is definitely suspect. Getting a serial complaint vibe from her for some reason.

I hate these crimes a lot but this don't feel right

The real question is: does Mr. Tucker own any dildo-copters?

This is going to be interesting....it's clear the whole story is far murkier than Tucker flogging the dolphin on the phone with her....and it seems clear she was out to get $$$$ without giving up the ass....so does MSU do the "let's get him therapy and forget about it" schtick or do they still can him anyway and just deal with the impending lawsuit....

Truth be told, it kinda seems like the decision has been made already.

So the question remains - does she back away from the allegations and save whatever rep she has left (which isn't much) or go all-in, keep pushing to get paid from the school and/or Tucker since these revelations are virtually guaranteeing she will never get hired again to talk about sexual crimes and being a victim advocate....she's done a lot of damage to actual victims everywhere if any of what Tucker is claiming is true.

One thing I'd throw in there is that if they are trying to "railroad" Tucker, there is no go-back-to-work-and-forget-it option. There is also likely no negotiated settlement of his existing contract. They (MSU) could very well be looking at having to pay him that contract PLUS damages while he isn't working there anymore.

Michigan State is on the hook to foot the bill for Tucker’s massive contract through 2032 unless Tucker broke one of three rules: materially breaching the contract, being convicted of a crime or if “the coach engages in any conduct which constitutes moral turpitude which, in the University’s reasonable judgment, would tend to bring public disrespect, contempt or ridicule on the University”.
I think Tucker handed MSU that on a silver platter.

What is considered moral turpitude?
A phrase that describes wicked, deviant behavior constituting an immoral, unethical, or unjust departure from ordinary social standards such that it would shock a community.

In a private phone call? I'm not a lawyer but how is it "reasonable" that having phone sex with another consenting adult is going to bring "public disrespect, contempt or ridicule to the University"?

This is the part the lawyers are going to hammer out, but it sure doesn't seem like it's on a silver platter for them.

My recollection of the details is hazy (not of the memes though  ) but I think Petrino got canned with cause and no payout at Arkansas for having an affair between "consenting adults" as well. That person was an employee of the University, but Tucker I believe hired this person in some capacity as well to speak to the team. I don't know, not silver platter maybe, but there seems to be precedent.

Yeah the co-worker bit is where the school has some leeway. End of the day, you can argue both sides of damn near anything but I doubt they can fire a professor for moral turpitude because details of his/her private sex life end up in the public domain if it wasn't "reasonable" to expect that they would.

This part:

He alleges Tracy wanted a “sugar daddy” who would regularly pay her money in exchange for sexual and romantic favors.

That's per his official filing with MSU.
I suppose it leaves the door open that he never accepted the "terms and conditions" -> therefore it's not prostitution.
However, then it's arguably not consensual.

Outside looking in: They "agreed" to something, he used services over phone once. Then he didn't pay. And so now she's claiming he just randomly did this.

If Ray Lewis taught us nothing else in this world, you gotta have a fall guy.

If Tuck just had a guy willing to say "I took his phone and pretended to be him. It was me that jerked off, not him..." he wouldn't be in this mess.
