Also, I haven't heard michigan folks talking to that many coaches lately. correct me if I'm wrong... but last news I heard was greg schiano said no.

so, there might be something to the story Miles to michigan

It is, of course, possible to speak to a coach without the media instantly knowing about it. Schiano's refusal being somehow indicative of Miles coming to Michigan skips a lot of reasoning steps along the way.

Moeller was as unpopular with fans as Debord, and was probably unlikely to survive the coaching transition. The LB coaching OL experiment has not been a pretty one.

Could hurt them with Elliot Mealer.

Oh, well then strike that, if he was wise enough not to go to a team with a delusional fanbase, resting on the laurels of their past glories ... :wink2:

I've seen the name pop up a few times on UM boards, but don't think he's interested in going anywhere. I don't think we'd be interested even if he were.

Over on the UM board there are several names being bandied about....

Miles
Grobe
Kelly
The University of Delaware coach...

Everybody seems to be in the know.....

The only thing I am certain of is that nobody outside of the process "knows" what is going on.
