Agreed. I'm not sure why people frequently say they want a young guy to keep around forever. That just doesn't happen much. Yeah, everyone lists Paterno and Bowden and certainly folks like Woody and Bo were around for a long time, but long tenures are less frequent now with all the pressure on these guys. 13 -15 years might be about all we get out of JT and we should be thankful if that's what we get.MililaniBuckeye;1023933; said:He could give them 13 years as Carr did. A solid 57-year-old coach is still a great hire.
Whatever the "process" is, what did the first four months consist of?
1. Sail on sailboat.
2. ???
3. Head coach!
"Dear LSU, I will be talking to your coach after the game. I plan to offer him sixteen quid a week, which is a considerable sum! West End brothels won't know what hit them! Thanks, good chaps, I trust you won't interfere. -- Sailboat Bill."
So now what? Schiano's out, Ferentz is out twice, Miles is (probably) out, and Brian Kelly is allergic to cats and Carr is demanding his pet Siamese Wuffles be appointed offensive coordinator. Or something.
