Dantonio for Michigan

I'm sorry if this isn't the correct location for this thread. Just go ahead and move it if it is necessary.

I'm wondering why I haven't heard Dantonio mentioned for the Michigan job? I saw this scenario playing out at the beginning of the season and I thought that this would become a popular idea.

Now that Les Miles has said his peace ESPN, as misinformed as they usually are, are saying that Kelly? from Cincinnati is likely. Dantonio obviously has more credential than him.

This is also parallel to the Woody Bo rivalry. Realistically I think that Dantonio could seriously compete with us with that kind of talent.

That depends. If you call yourself a genius sarcastically, it's not really going 3rd person. If you're not being sarcastic, then it is considered going 3rd person; but it's OK if you can pat yourself on the back at the same time.

For some reason, that's called the Weis Rule.

There is already plenty of bad blood between Dantonio & UM. Why not ask if Jay Leno will be hired as the promoter for Larry David's next campaign, or Dennis Dodd for OSU SID?

Dantonio is not a better candidate than Brian Kelly imo. Kelly has accomplished more as a HC, and would have a better shot of stealing Ohio kids imo.
