Miami Heat (3x NBA Champions)

I hate that it took playing the Cavs for the Heat to get their [Mark May] together. If KG is hurt bad the Heat won't slow down until the Finals.

x-rays revealed no fractures or anything. Early reports are saying "muscle related." So that's good for him and the Celtics. KG is all heart, I hate seeing him get injured.

now you're trying to discredit the defending two time champions?......

You really are butthurt over this whole thing. you're starting to embarrass yourself

I guess the two wins over NY this month don't mean much either since the Cavs were able to beat them as well. I mean you realize the Bucs (yes, the Bucks) are 4 games better than the Cavs?

This thread is the gift that keeps on giving

No doubt. That dude needs to chill...on everything.

The Heat have won something like 16 of their last 17 and are 25 -9 overall. They are starting to play better and better as a team. Are they the Bulls of the 90s? No, but they are looking more and more like a championship caliber team. Mocking the Heat now makes a mockery of yourself.

:tibor:. Just pointing out that the Lakers are reeling right now, which is, I believe, a perfectly acceptable reply to your chest-beating about the Heat also beating them at home. A good NBA team doesn't get trashed at home by the Bucks. Sorry--I'll let you and the SW Ohio crew go back to being Heat fanboys.

You don't have to be a Heat fanboy to recognize that they are playing well and are going to be tougher and tougher to beat.

I don't disagree with you.

But, you don't have to be an NBA fan (which I'm really not, anymore) to recognize that every other NBA contender will give them their best shot each time they play.

In a league where motivation and morale are suspect at any given moment, I fully expect to see fiery teams such as the Celtics to knock out these prima donnas.

doesn't count, he's playing vs inferior opponents who lose to teams like the bucks. back to back titles doesn't mean much anymore.

I thought it was interesting 3 out of 4 analysts thought D-Wade was the better player this year vs. LeBron.

They all agreed D-wade is the engine that makes them go and the Heat will go as far as he takes them.

I don't mean to make this a LeBron thing, but I just can't help but wonder what he thinks when he hears stuff like that....
