Miami Heat (3x NBA Champions)

LeBron was -20 in point differential, worst on the team tonight. He stuffed the stat sheet, similar to the way he did against the Celtics, but just played awful.

6-17 from the field, and five turnovers. Not to mention several of his buckets and points came with ridiculous calls. Game shouldn't have been as close as it was...Heat got a lot of loving from the crew.

This is why Lebron is not a role model.....I dont want my kids to think 19 points on 6 for 17 shooting is acceptable

superstars take all the shots though. Kobe takes 20 a night. MJ took 20 a night. You're not going to shoot 60% from the field every night.

But what these guys are playing isn't even fundamental basketball anymore. Traveling, palming, carrying, and a solid jump shot are things of the past.

The game was in Miami. Teams that lose at home by 2 in the playoffs usually lose to the same team by 20 on the road.

I think I'd take the Heat in a best of 7 series against Dallas come January/February, but the Heat are currently 0-2 against the Mavericks. To say rather confidently that you'd take Miami in a best of 7 against a team that has owned them twice does seem a bit foolish.

not to defend a Wolverine but what I think he means is that the Mavericks are what they are.....the Heat are still a work in progress. I didn't see the game last night, I was at the UD vs. Winthrop game.

exactly. I said "the heat still have some work to do." Obviously if i take them in a 7 game series, that's not going to be until the playoffs.

I wouldn't take them in a 7 game series vs Boston right now. they still have some kinks to work out. Miller only has 1 game under his belt with them basically. Get haslem back and they'll be dangerous. Not sure when Haslem is due to return though

Quit putting purfume on horse shit:wink2:.....35% sucks in any era unless its from the 3 point line then its just enough to get the green light.

I think the Heat are a year away.... I wouldnt be shocked if they got out of the east because Boston is old and have yet to prove they will be healthy at the playoff mark.... 7 game series against the Lakers looks a little to daunting with the current line up.... give me a break on Miller being their savior.

:tibor:. Look no further than the Celtics-Heat series last year in the playoffs, chief. Celtics won game 2 at home by 29. The next game, in Miami, the Celtics won by only 2. Sounds pretty much like--no, exactly like--what I said, no?

Next.

The Bucks (yes, the Bucks) also beat the Lakers in LA by 19 a few days before the Heat did. BFD.

so if they beat shitty teams its BFD, if they beat the defending champions on there home court its BFD.

I'm sure Lakers went into the Bucks game with the same intensity as a nationally televised game against a team that everyone despises and a player that a lot of analysts has said is better than Kobe. Where was Kobe's heart in this game? He just quit in this game.

Who do they have to beat to get credit?

now you're trying to discredit the defending two time champions?......

You really are butthurt over this whole thing. you're starting to embarrass yourself

I guess the two wins over NY this month don't mean much either since the Cavs were able to beat them as well. I mean you realize the Bucs (yes, the Bucks) are 4 games better than the Cavs?
