Game Thread Miami (FL) at tOSU, Sat Sep 11, 3:40 ET, ESPN

Again, where the hell is Brandon Saine? Not sure why a team with a QB who can convert 3d and short like TP is so loath to try to run for 4-5 on 1st down some of the time. Of course, now in the second half we'll probably see "Dave" on every single first down.

Our Offense and Defense are both getting the job done!

26 points in the first half....

3 turnovers and shutting down the Miami Offense...

All we need is for the special teams to step it up in the second half and we continue to pull away. SPECIAL TEAMS MUST STEP IT UP!!

im so tired of settling for 3.........how many years now has this been the story for our offense? grrrrrrrrrrrrr.......just so frustrating.
This one is on this offenses execution, not on the play calling from upstairs, IMHO.

Big difference.

Horrible coaching always gets you a two-possession lead going into halftime against a top-15 team.

Wouldn't you say Jacory Harris throwing 3 picks might have more to do with it?

I expect them to make adjustments as we are usually a better second half team. But that was Les Miles and Romeo Crennel esque at the end.

And I know Tressel isn't playing but you'd think we would come out stronger on special teams after last week.

Great play call by Bollman after Miami went up though the play action worked to perfection.

This game is nuts. We should be up 20 but if our defense wasn't so stellar we could also be down two TDs.

To be fair, Miami isn't giving TP a lot of time and are actually defending on the ball pretty well.

Terrelle has obviously overcome that (0 sacks, 2 TD passes), though.

The conditions aren't very forgiving either.
