It's funny that the repeated runs from the power-I is what they've done for years and everyone grumbles that those don't work, either.

There's a time and place for everything. I don't want to see it on every first down, but some of them would be ok. OSU's playing offense behind the chains and a few first down runs might help correct that.

I think the offense has done good but had the oppertunity to do much better. The score could easily be in the 30's for us. Its just alittle scary to see the execution sputtering like it has been. Hope they pull it together more in the second half. Kudos to defense

Second half adjustments are coming. I expect more of a run first offense. Hopefully we see more of Herron as well. He's been running the ball really well, and he's a one cut back that fits this Miami D well. Take the ball cut and run forward.

Great game, but horrible special teams.

I expect them to try to run more, but Miami shut it down in the first half for the most part. Maybe the pass has opened that up a little, but make no mistake - the passing game is what got this team on the board in the first half and I think they need to continue to take shots downfield to keep Miami honest.

They've done a nice job of mixing in some option plays too. The more traditional option plays - not zone read - have been good for the Buckeyes and Pryor has executed it well.

Well the 1st half is in the books, and we learned a few things....

1. They simply can't run the ball on us, and that will put alot of pressure on Harris if we are able to build our league a bit more.

2. Harris is a hit or miss guy, and today looks like a miss. The last INT wasn't his fault, but he has overthrown his guys a good bit today.

3. Our offensive and defensive players are every bit as fast as Miami's......probably faster. Screw you Mark May.

I really hope they run the ball down their throat this 2nd half, because they have been on the field awhile, and quite honestly I don't think they can consistently stop our run game. This one should get ugly by the end of the game.

its alittle different when your in the middle of the field as to when your at first and goal....
Even if it only gets you a yard or two, your at first and goal with 6 yards to go.

Oh, I pretty much agree. It just made me chuckle. :tongue2:
