Is there any reason Ohio State can't sign a dozen coaches on as analysts like Bama, other than being cheap?

I'm sure an unnamed tsun assistant coach has already accused us through a friendly writer of that without a shred of evidence.

I don't believe that there is any restrictions on analysts. The analysts just can't do on the field coaching and/or recruiting, etc.

Unless your TSUN then you can coach.. Did they ever get any NCAA heat about that knowing the NCAA today probabtion with 1 reduced practice .

I think keeping Coombs could be problematic. Barnes doesn’t have the expectations that Coombs has and isn’t being demoted. If I’m Knowles Coombs is gone to minimize any potential issues.

If Coombes does stay Knowles pay is significantly higher than his anyway if I remember correctly ($1.9M v $1.5M) so a pay cut technically isn’t necessary.

Coombs seems like he does his best to be a good soldier so I don't see him causing any such issues if he stays
