Matt Barnes (DC Memphis Tigers)

Since I don't personally know any of the people involved nor can begin to analyze the personalities and interpersonal relationships involved, I couldn't intelligently speculate on how much of a gamble it is.
Wild ass guess? Definitely.
Intelligent analysis? No.
Basing it on my 30+ years of work and management experience, there’s nothing more demoralizing than being demoted. The energy is lost and one needs to move on and rebuild.

we saw the shit show with Grinich when he didn’t get full control. Don’t want to ever see that again.

Banks did whatever but Burke looked great. The corners looked decent other than whatever Banks was this year safety was an issue which it has been a lot of years and that's Barnes job
Agree Safety is an issue, but who did we have to play safety? Barnes had to shift his focus to the whole defense. A lot of recruiting misses that weren’t on Barnes.

True but Coombs prooved he can recruit and coach secondary both College and the pros if Coombs wants to stay he has the track record. You do have a point on motivation but as a pure secondary coach I take Coombs over Barnes
