Marquette at Ohio State Friday 11/9 7pm. NBCS

Now the carrier game in Jacksonville is having some issues with condensation. Doesn't look like its deteriorating to the point of cancelation yet, but the officials have said they can't wait because it will only get worse the later it gets.

I can't believe all of these games got called due to rain/moisture. Why the fuck didn't people plan for it!? :pissed:

And if they figure out how to control weather, MLB would love to talk to them.

I think understanding condensation and what conditions it forms under is a little easier than predicting rain, considering it happens pretty much every single night, especially in the traditionally humid southeast (humidity is at its highest during the night).

I believe I mentioned the on-site alternative earlier, Duke/MSU had a second court below decks. That probably requires the newer, larger carriers, so they may not have been available. In that case, a nearby indoor venue should be prepared, or have these scheduled as exhibition games so that they don't affect the start of the actual season like tonight did. Stuff happens, yeah, but the gimmick was probably taken to far and out of an ideal climate. It doesn't stop being humid to the point where condensation is much of an issue for another month or two around here.
