So, rumor I'm [strike]starting[/strike] hearing is that all of the organizers got together with Gene Smith at 7:15 to ask him whether or not the game should be played. He stated definitively that the condensation would dry up, everything would be fine, and personally guaranteed no one would be injured ......and that's when they knew for sure they had to cancel it.
