Think of what, weather?

It could be raining cats and dogs. That's the risk of planning an outdoor game on the east coast.

No. The fact that its going to be played outside. Cooler weather is/was in store...leads to condensation. Any smart one would see that. Why not play earlier so that you avoid this part at least. Now its a waste of time and money. If I traveled to that game, I'd be TICKED

Thank god it was cancelled.

It never should have been cancelled. They practiced at The Citadel, which is in Charleston. Just move the game to The Citadel and invite the troops to come, start it later. Complete idiocy by not having a back-up plan in case of inclement weather. The first mistake they made was starting the game at 7 PM. A plan of playing at night outside with no backup plan is dumb.

come on man, you can't just up and move a basketball game, there's a thing called logistics

This whole spectacle of playing on an aircraft carrier has grown too quickly.

As MSU and Uconn are showing you can pay tribue to the troops and still play indoors. Hell you could probably play under the deck of an aircraft carrier.

A night basketball game in Charleston, SC in November should not have been scheduled.

During the day is risky enough with the winds and risk of rain, but a night game is at best low 50's with 10 mph winds. And this whole condensation phenomenon isnt a direct result of global warming and just started two years ago. Sorry, this is a good idea, but not really all that feasible.
