Mark May (Blew 5 guys at Pitt)

I listen to him BECAUSE he's such a monumental dumbass!

Did anyone see the halftime show of Thursday nights USC game when at the end of the Dr. Lou segment Holtz says,

(something to the effect of) "if you enjoy 'Ask Dr. Lou', show your support by driving during the day with you headlights on...but if you don't like it, then drive at night with your headlights off..."

And when the cameras cut back to the studio, May was sitting there with a puzzled look on his face and the other two guys (I believe Robert Smith was one of them) look at him and say, "you don't get it do you?" May responds, "That doesn't make sense...why would you drive at night with your headlights off, you couldn't see."

They actually explained it to him on air and as they cut away to commercial you hear one of them say, "I can't believe we actually had to explain that to you."

CLASSIC! :slappy:

I seen that and it was some funny shit. Mark May got eat a bag of dicks. One of these days you will get a clue.

I don't like it. I don't like that TP has acknowledged this steaming pile's existence. I don't like that he brought up the signing day drama, and I don't like that TP seems to be listening, and taking personally, things that are read from a teleprompter about him.

TP needs to let Robert Smith continue to abuse Mark May, and just keep his mind focused on school and playing football.

Who needs bulletin board material from Wisconsin when you have Mark May?

I know it's his job to be a d-bag and get an audience, so I don't take anything he's saying with a grain of salt.

I wonder who pays his salary, USC or the SEC?

Eh, who gives a shit about what pre-game and halftime analysts say as per substance?

I don't have a problem with the particulars of May's analysis, predictions, arguments, or whatever. What I have a problem with is people who are not good public speakers having high-profile jobs as public speakers, and no job group should be vetted like ex-pro athletes.

My HUGE problem with Mark May is that he says, "The bottom line is ..." every fourth sentence. It's terrible. The other one that really annoys me is Steve Young on MNF, who does the same thing, but his phrase is "At the end of the day ..." and he includes it at least as often as May does, "the bottom line is ..."

Good God that shit drives me up the wall.

AskOxford says there are 171,476 English language words in current use. Guys like Steve Young and Mark May need to learn 171,470 of the other ones.

Irregardless, at the end of the day the bottom line is that Mark May is a douchebag.

 :p

Add Emmit Smith to the list of ESPN talking heads that I currently hate. I think every time he is on they have to ask him to compare his Dallas team to the current one. I think he just about creams his pants with excitement when he sees this coming on the teleprompter!
