I had actually forgotten that Mark May ( Blew 5 guys at Pitt ) still existed.
Because his career nose dived due to the OSU-hate schtick. If OSU had started losing and went into the territory of say Ped St or Wisky and were a decent 2nd tier program but hardly ever won conference titles, had average ratings and contantly lost big games, then he'd be the CFB king at ESPN.

In that case, OSU must keep winning. Now more than ever.

And that dive really began in 2015 when he got booed off the set at the Sugar Bowl and ESPN took him off the air for the rest of the night.

Yup, tying your success to a particular program isn't the best idea. Finebaum has been lucky that Bama hasn't been bad under Saban, or he would've lost relevance as well, IMO.
