I'm with you starBUCKS. Early in the year, he had Arizona St, Michigan St and UCLA in his top 10 and NO Ohio State. This was, I think, the week of the San Diego St game. Mark May had us #5.

The hating shenanigans is getting old. We win games, we get more respect, simple as that. Seems to me we are the highest ranked team with 1 loss so we're obviously getting respect pretty much across the board. Unless someone is purposefully bashing the Buckeyes (IE Skip Bayless) then it's time to move on till the next guy says some stupid shit.

I can't stand the way holtz talks. It's not being mean, he's not a friend I talk to at a party, he's a guy being paid for his talking skills. I wouldn't want me up there either.

I don't know that he's that biased really. If anything, he's gonna have more respect for the way tressel coaches, especially given his familiarity with Cooper's woes (even tho ND games turned out ok).

Let me preface this by stating that I don't completely buy the whole Ohio State media conspiracy. But isn't it ironic that Lou Holtz (who picked us against Texas) is the "hater" while Mark May isn't because he picked us to blow out PSU? If there ever was an OSU hater, it is Mark May. Until lately, I can't recall him ever saying anything complimentary about the Buckeyes.
