Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

my point is you would think that he averaged 15 pts and 2 rebounds in that Boston series last season with the revisionist history that goes on around here regarding Lebron's time in Cleveland. (27 pts, 10 assists, and 19 rebounds in the game in which he "gave up" and 27,9,7 for the series)

the series Boobie was talking about was Boston. And game 5, you'd be hard pressed to watch the tape, and say he was giving max effort.

The night he mailed it in he was 3-14 from the floor, and hanging out in corners as he watched teammates struggle to make plays. In time-outs he was distant and not in the huddles. On the bench in the first quarter as he got substituted out, he put his palms in the air with a lot of attitude.

I'm not sure what to make of the entire series. His game 3 was off the charts good. But game 5 was something else...there was 100% something up.

And for LeBron to make a comment about playing in Miami now, without teammates who will die in the big moment is absurd. LeBron dies on Cleveland in the biggest game of his career and then turns around and points fingers at his teammates.

Congrats LBJ...now when you want to pout in a corner and be a bitch, D-Wade will pick up the slack and call you out on national TV.

I do understand a bit more why he needed to go a city with another super-star. The guy doesn't have the balls or leadership to be the main man. He has to be Pippen b/c he doesn't have the stones to be Jordan.

Even if Jordan comes out 3/14 in a game, he's still giving max effort, and will prbably fire up 14 more shots with confidence in his game. LeBron quit and then talked about spoiling Clevelanders with his play....

It was bizarre. Every player has terrible nights, but Lebron's game has always been built around freight-training his way to the hoop, yet he barely drove towards the lane at all. He was 1-11 from outside the paint.

That spoiled" line was something else.

When Jordan fails uncharacteristically, he is furious with himself. When Lebron fails uncharacteristically, he is furious with everyone else.

If LeBron James wins a ring, with the numbers that he's put up this series, then they need to put an additional asterisk next to his championship. It's hard for me to accept that a guy with Jordan-like ability is the number two guy on his team, in the playoffs. That is not legendary status.

Instead of putting an asterisk next to his ring, people should just stop comparing him to the greats. Only a guy afraid of the leadership skills and ability in his own game, would go to another super-stars city.

D-Wade laughed in the game 1 finals interview when they asked if the Cavs had the cap space, would he have gone there? It took everything in his body to say "hell no" just to make LeBron not look bad. He still said there would be no way he left Miami to go to Cleveland even if LeBron were there.

LeBron is what he is. An amazing talent with small balls. He's going to make great plays based on his ridiculous athleticism, but if you cut open his chest, he's got the heart of a coward.

All Cleveland fans are guilty of is wanting to put Jordan, Kobe, even D-Wade's heart in his chest. We were blinded and defended LeBron's actions while he was here, but all along the way the hints were there.

I give OH10 credit for basically nailing it 2 years before "The Decision" even happened....

I think if you go back to the threads at that time, there was a ton of discussion as to what was going on with him and his off-kilter performance.

i have changed camps after watching tonights game. Lebron is a giant pussy. He hasn't even looked at the basket in the 4th quarter. He had a chance for a dunk/layup that would have been challenged and just threw it off bosh who was 3 feet further from the hoop than him.

I can see a game here or there were he tries to facilitate and lays back...but not two nights in a row. Heat had a 10 point lead go away and he isn't even looking at the hoop. It is really bizzare.

Heat down two with a minute. Lebron guarded one on one...passes to haslem in the corner without dribbling.

I have seen the light....I have excercised the deamons!!! Lebron is a fucking basketcase.

If I'm a Miami fan, I'm asking myself if that was just a bad performance, or was that game 5 against Boston.

There is a huge difference, IMO.

Game 5 LeBron was making a point to Clevelanders and teammates. If he doesn't show up, game over. You win LeBron....Cleveland was certainly fucked when you decided to suck your own dick in the corner of the court.

Tonight LeBron went complete selfish mode again...but you have to think like a psychologist when I say "selfish". How does a guy who scored 8 points and refused to shoot go "selfish"?

Dude was proving a point to Miami, and passive aggressively. He's the most passive aggressive superstar I have ever seen truthfully. Apparently all of the talk got to him about being Robin and second fiddle. Tonight he made a point of sucking, and I think his message was/is, if Miami wants to win, THEY NEED HIM.

I highly doubt we see a terrible performance in game 5. He's going to come out looking for numero uno. He's going to prove to the world Miami needs LBJ.
