Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

I'd love to see LeBron's decesion leaked, and watch ESPN scrammble to add suspense...keep in mind ESPN is running a 3 hour ESPN special before the decesion...

The good news is they are planning to announce the choice 10-15 minutes into the special.

Regardless of whether he chooses my favorite team or not, this is garbage TV. I'd watch VH1 before I watch this.

Amen, thank goodness for Netflix and a PS3...

and a side note..... the afternoon guys here are rooting for it to be leaked... they seriously said "we want an exec from another team to let us know and we'll give it to Chip Brown and let him run with it". I about wrecked my car, I was laughing so hard. Yes the guys down here think he's staying.

At this point I don't care.

Everyone on Sportscenter just said Miami, with one of the NBA dudes saying his source told him 90% Miami. Of course he also said he had 2 major sources...1 originally thought Miami and now says CLeveland, the other said Cleveland yesterday and now says Miami. So basically Who the Foxtrot knows, but I bet it will be Miami or Cleveland. I am really starting to think it won't be Cleveland, however.

If this is a cover story, it's not a very good one

@Chris_Broussard LeBron James spent Wed evening (6-8:30 pm) playing pickup softball with friends/fam in Akron. A shortstop, he led his team to victory.

Who gives a fuck anymore? Even if he stays, it will never be the same for Lebron in Cleveland. He's better off just leaving. Hopefully we'll be able to rebuild quickly enough through the draft before the team rents the Mayflower trucks.

The irony in all of this is that he's a villain for a lack of loyalty, but the majority of Ohio has already started to hate him before anyone has a clue as to what he is doing.

I think a lot of people have grown weary of the process. No matter what happens, this has not been a positive for the city of Cleveland or the state of Ohio. We've been the sport media's punching bag throughout this whole circus.

It will be tremendously positive if he comes back tomorrow. The process will be forgotten by 99% of the fanbase.

I get that, but my general point is that Ohio doesn't seem to have much loyalty left towards LBJ. He gave them seven years and is considering doubling that (despite another awful postseason), yet he gets that much vitriol before he actually decides whether to leave.

It's one thing to wish Terrelle Pryor or Lebron James would just end their recruitment already, but a lot of folks have taken bracing for the worst to a whole different level.

If I were Lebron, I'd wonder whether my loyalty was worth it if so many have already dismissed me as a villain who is a hired merc for another town.

If I come back, their loyalty will resurface and 99% of the hateful words will be forgotten. All of the folks that hated me leading up to "The Decision" will suddenly love me again because I'm a hired merc for their town.

I understand that's how fans are everywhere, but it would shape my perspective on "loyalty"
