Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Not at all.

First, there's almost no way to fit Kevin Love in under the salary cap as a free agent, since Kyrie's max contract will kick in next year, and LeBron (if he signs with the Cavs) will also be a max contract player.

Second, the Cavs will still be stuck with Dion Waiters.

Third, the team would still lack spot up shooters and rim defenders.

The "dream scenario" would be to sign LeBron, give up whatever it takes (except for Kyrie) to get Love now, and then fill in the roster with role players. That way you've got a "big three" and enough complementary parts to form a championship team.
Unless both Lebron and Love both sign for less than max money, I don't see how it would work. So I guess it could technically work for one year since Love will be at ~17M, but assuming you want to keep him after 2015 he'll want max. So that would be like $60M tied up in 3 guys. Obviously enough to be a great team in the East, but I don't see it as a championship caliber team when factoring the teams in the West.

Edit: and I know the cap could be going up significantly with the new TV contract, but I don't know how much that will come into play when I'm guessing all contracts will go up with it. So minimum and maximum will both increase.

Looks like a bunch of speculation.

The sad thing is, Cleveland fans are going to eat all of this talk up, then when he announces he's staying in Miami or elsewhere, it's going to be like 2010 all over again.

I'm not saying he's 100% not going to sign with the Cavs, I suppose anything's possible, I just think a lot of people are really buying into what they want to hear.

Yeah I don't really care that much anyhow. The NBA has been going down for years... It's so lame with all the super teams trying to be established everywhere. There is nothing wrong with winning, but basically if you don't live in a gorgeous place or a huge market you never succeed for long and watch your star team up with stars to try and win. Might as well get rid of half of the NBA...

I do find it hilarious all the "Heat" fans that act like they know Bosh, Wade, or Bron. All this "He wants ___ not _____" crap. People are so thirsty for the results...
