Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

I really don't even care if it's not Cleveland, I would seriously pay money to watch the meltdown if LeBron leaves the Heat. Especially if Bosh leaves too. I was in Miami when they lost game 5, was sooo hilarious watching how quickly the fans went into hiding from the day previous.

I feel the same way. I'm a Cavs fan, but I'll still get quite a lot of joy if Lebron goes somewhere like Phoenix, just to see Miami get royally screwed.

I'd like for him to sign in Dallas if it isn't Cleveland, but I'm not too picky. Leaving the Heat would be great. Miami is my least favorite sports city and my second least favorite city to visit. I think it's really down between Houston/Miami/Cleveland. I'd be surprised if he doesn't resign in Miami.

What's left if he does though? The best free agent they can get is Pau Gasol, and Gasol should realize that if he's taking a discount, OKC is the right place to do it. He, Durant, Westbrook, and Ibaka make a lot better team than he, LeBron, Bosh, and a bunch of old men. I know LeBron has wanted to stay out of the decision process this year, but his indecision has cost the Heat any opportunity that they had to get better.

LeBron demanding the Max is baffling to me. He deserves it, no doubt, but it calls into question his priorities...?
He couldn't have demanded better role players, then demanded to get the max salary and expect to get both...
Im starting to think, he may be happy with the two rings he already has. I was shocked by his attitude before game 5 of the finals.
It was the close out game, win or go home, and when asked about the urgency of the moment he replied
"its just basketball...im in the good place right now...the two rings I already have definitely helps."
(although he went on to score 30pts and put Miami on his back...again...in that loss)

I think, to a degree, he is content with the rings he has won.
He still wants to win a ring every year, but is more interested in getting paid the most while trying to win the rings now.

This post is really spot on with how I feel. The LeBron that I'm used to would never say that basketball isn't a big deal after a Finals loss. This is the same guy who cried during Game 6 last year when it looked like it was over. This is the same guy who said that he left Cleveland simply because he wasn't SURE that he could win a title there. He seems indifferent. I'm not sure what this says about his future as a basketball player. I could be wrong, but it seems out of character.

Plus that Miami pick Cleveland has becomes much more valuable without lebron there.

Very good point. IF James signs with the Cavs, then does that put the Cavs in position to trade for Kevin Love? Just thinking out loud but do the Cavs trade Waiters, TT, 2015 #1's any of the two of Miami, Memphis, or Cleveland's own? Restructure Andy's contract and that should free up the necessary space to sign Love to 4-5 years? Thoughts?

I think they'd try for Love, but Minnesota would want Wiggins, not future picks.

Where there's smoke there's fire
LeBron returning to the Cavs
My crystal ball says yes

This team is going to be a polar version of the one that entered the opening day floor last year
