Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

When LeBron demanded better players, then demanded the max, then took off on vacation and didn't do anything to help land any free agents.
That's about the worse thing he could have done.....to help the heat.

Like when he wouldn't help the Cavs recruit players back in the day. To be honest coming back to the Cavs might not be the best move for next year, but they could win the next 5 titles after that. They are probably good enough to win next year if Lebron is willing to shoulder the load.

Miami looks like they will be in rebuilding mode next year as well...Wade will have to miss even more games next season to keep his knees fresh. (again)
LeBron clearly stated that messed up Miami's chemistry. Now add several new players and they could be dealing with chemistry problems all year.

LeBron could stay in Miami and deal with rotating out old veterans every year.
(ray allen would retire next year, Andersen probably the year after, Wade the year after that ect..)

Or he could come to Cleveland, rebuild together next year, and have a core of young superstars in Irving and Wiggins
then potentially sign K.Love as a FA the year after that. Miami was the past, Cavs are the future. (That's my pitch to Lebron)

Time to come back home LeBron.

Getting LeBron, keeping Wiggins, draft picks, Waiters, Thompson, and then signing Love next year is the dream scenario for the Cavs. I bet they'd even be competitive this year with Kyrie, Waiters/Wiggins, LeBron, Thompson, Varejao and Waiters/Wiggins, Bennett off the bench.

Love is walking in a year. Minny has no leverage.

This is true, but the Wolves seem stuck on the idea of getting their money's worth for Love. To the point that I think they'd rather keep him than deal him for 50 cents on the dollar.

For the first time it really starts to feel like LeBron could leave Miami. Until the last few days it just seemed like "When will he stop messing around and re-sign."

Maybe he is starting to wise up and realize there are a few places that are better options looking past just this next year only. Cleveland is young with loads of talent, Houston has some fantastic pieces that could easily make them a favorite in the West. Even PHX has some solid pieces and ability to make him a contender for years. Seems like in Miami there isn't too much left barring any major move.

That being said he still could resign with Miami tomorrow for all we know...

You magnificent bastard. I'm only two pages in and I might have to pull an all nighter. Apparently Cleveland and Houston are to blame for the Lebron imminent signing elsewhere. Gold, Jerry... Pure gold!!!
It's even better today. They're now convinced the entire league is out to screw them. They're also turning on LeBron one by one, calling him selfish, immature, and saying all he cares about is money. It's a beautiful thing.

This just popped up on the Heat board:

NBA Central @TheNBACentral
Report: The Houston Rockets are preparing to give Chris Bosh a max contract.

...and my favorite reply:

Not at all.

First, there's almost no way to fit Kevin Love in under the salary cap as a free agent, since Kyrie's max contract will kick in next year, and LeBron (if he signs with the Cavs) will also be a max contract player.

Second, the Cavs will still be stuck with Dion Waiters.

Third, the team would still lack spot up shooters and rim defenders.

The "dream scenario" would be to sign LeBron, give up whatever it takes (except for Kyrie) to get Love now, and then fill in the roster with role players. That way you've got a "big three" and enough complementary parts to form a championship team.

So funny reading the Heat boards. Their just a different breed of moron lol. Their speculation and guessing is just too much humor.

"I hear a report that LeBron likes a certain kind of fruit that they grow in Florida well, sources say that's a big reason he will return to Miami"
That's the kind of crap they are spewing right now practically.
