Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Could go down as top 3 player of all time. From the area. Drafted by his "hometown" (when it suits him).

Ends up plotting to leave, does nothing to help the team get better by recruiting players to come and play with him, quits in the biggest games.

Then he goes on national tv and embarasses the team and the fans by announcing he's leaving to join another team.

Add that to all of the other heartache that Cleveland sports fans have endured over the last 40 years and you tell us to let it go?

Yeah, ok.
Not to defend King Flop, but he had nothing to do with any other heartache Cleveland sports fans have endured. That should be let go in regards to him. He gives you enough to hate about him on his own.....you don't even need to like the Cavs to take part in it.

Seriously, is this guy the thinnest-skinned superstar in sports history?

?We?re not just another team. I don?t understand what he?s saying. But we?re not just another team. It?s not true.??
Another reporter asks what he said.
LeBron: ?He said we?re just another team in their way. We?re not just another team. We?re a great team. We?re very confident. We?ll be ready for them. But if we?re just another team, you really don?t prepare for just another team. We?re not just another team. You got to be prepared for us.??

Vogel, of course, actually said the Heat are "just the next team that?s in our way and that?s how we?re approaching it."

I think Lebron is trying to manufacture ways to motivate himself and his team in a title run that seems more like a cakewalk considering the watered-down competition. It's obviously forced and I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it.

I agree with you, but it's the repetition that makes LBJ come off like a petulant child... yet again. He's a huge baby - he really is!

I don't think it's to watered down. Of the three teams left other than Miami, they all pose pretty bad matchup problems for the Heat. The worst thing that could have happened for Miami was Westbrook going down and not getting to see OKC in the Finals again.

as for the quotes, Vogel seems to like making things more difficult for Indiana when it comes to playing Miami. With the flopping accusations last year before their series, and now this. It's usually the players who are the ones who shouldn't be opening their mouths.

I agree about he LeBron thing. I was disappointed. But it's been three years. I've let it go. Spending time being pissed about sports is a sad way to live.

It really doesn't take much effort to not like the guy or his antics.

When he was in Cleveland, we either didn't notice or didn't care that he
Was a jackass. Then he turned into the friend that would bang your sister.
Now we notice his douchebagness.

I don't spend anymore energy hating the guy as i do liking him. The hate thing turned into second nature at this point.

No he didn't have anything to do with the rest of the sports heartache that Cleveland fans have had, but he added to it. It's not like this was Carlos Boozer ditching the Cavs. This was the best player in the league quitting during the playoffs and then embarrassing the city and the fans with a staged middle finger on national tv.

I really get the feeling that James will be joining Irving, Noel, and another high draft pick next year in 2015. I can't wait to see all of you love James again. It's going to be entertaining for the other 49 states.

I think the main reason the Cavs rehired Mike Brown was to shut the door on the whole Lebron coming back thing. I'm pretty sure next year will be his last year in Miami, but I don't see Dan Gilbert getting on his knees to sign him.

Of course if you asked Lebron's posse what they want him to do I'm sure every last one of them would say sign with the Cavs. Unfortunately this won't end until Lebron signs a contract past next year or the Cavs use their cap space on someone else.

while i highly doubt lebron comes back to cleveland, hiring mike brown won't be the reason why. lebron won a championship finally doing what mike brown begged him to do for 2 years. get on the block and dominate fools down low. unfortunately, it took the super friends getting owned by a goofy looking german to get that through lebron's head. the major problem was that mike brown didn't put him in his place. the cavs, and every one around lebron enabled him for so long that there was no laying down the law.

So hate him for that.......not because The Drive and The Shot also sucked for you.

Won't happen. Irving's stay in Cleveland is only going to last as long as his rookie contract I think...
