Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

i never said that. i simply said he played a good game even though he didn't score. there is more to the game then just that. that is all i tried to say. but even a minor complement of him sets people off like you who look for anything they can find to criticize.

I agree with you. LeBron hasn't been amazing but when you have a guy next to you as good as D Wade who has the hot hand, sometimes being a facilitator is the best thing for the team.

I hate LeBron but some people go way overboard.

D Wade is an incredible player too....

AAnd I still don't think LeBron will ever be considered the best player to ever live. Having D Wade as Co-superstar pretty much ended the chances of that.

Sponsors pay NBA star 134% more than team

LeBron James has many reasons to show more loyalty to his corporate partners than his NBA team. LeBron makes $19,500,000 MORE from endorsements of companies such as Nike, Coca-Cola,McDonald?s, State Farm, Upper Deck than his salary for playing pro basketball with the Miami Heat. FORBES reports that King James is one of four NBA players who make MORE from endorsements than the team they play for. The others are Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O?Neal and Kevin Durant.

Peja vs Bibby, one ex Sac King guaranteed to exercise the demon that was the 2002 screw job by the Lakers
So far Bibby's been playing better than Peja. Mostly because Peja doesn't get a lot of chances to play. When Peja's in the game, he needs to get a look at the hoop. If he gets hot, he could really fill it up.

You see, if he actually has the #1 in mind, he wouldn't have joined up with two other superstars. Unless he wins multiple championships as the guy, he will never be what he could and should have been - one of the best of all time. He'll be a HOFer, he'll be praised as a great player. But he'll be praised as the great player who didn't do what he could have done. He's defining himself as Pippen. Which isn't a bad thing at all, it's just not what a player of his caliber should strive for.

he's only 26. nobody knows what his legacy will be. Unless you're a Cav's fan, then no matter what he does he'll always be "bitchmade." so get over it

Bibby has upped his game in the Finals. He was nonexistent vs Chicago. I'm happy for him as a Kings fan from the Webber era.

as in he knew he needed at least one more player that was worth a shit and after 7 years in Cleveland he knew he was never going to get one.

Haven't this path been traveled about a billion times already? Lebron could have gotten players to Cleveland with him if he'd wanted. Ownership did everything they could to get guys there, but all they could do was trade for guys like Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison because no FAs would sign there not knowing whether LBJ was going to be around for the long haul.

As in a truly great player wouldn't have left. As in he evidently needed far more than "one more player," considering where he went.

that may be true with the free agents. i think the biggest mistake the cavs made was trading for jamison when they could have had amare. i never really understood why they decided to go that route. choosing a guy who during the wizards best season was their third best player over a guy who, granted does not play defense very well, but has shown up in the playoffs multiple times and is a 20 and 10 guy made no sense.

I only see one more great player on Miami......Bosh hasn't showed me much more than being the best player on a crappy Toronto team.

Bron going to Miami is no different than Kobe throwing playoff games and pouting and trying to force himself out of LA unless they brought in someone else. Ergo, Pau = 2 more rings for kobe.

Then it's settled. Bron = Pau

I'd say Bron more closely equals Ron Artest. Focusing on defense, while D-Wade plays Kobe...

Coincidentally, Artest considered coming to Cleveland to play 2G and provide depth at SF, but said he thought LBJ was leaving and didn't want to be stranded in the city so he signed as a FA in LA.
