Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

he brought up Charles Woodson and Vernon Gholston and defined them as traitors. I find kids choosing where to go to college to be a lot different than a man choosing where to go play bball via free agency.

that's all i'm talking about.

I consider Woodson to be a traitor and I fully acknowledge its out of bitterness. I'm not ashamed to admit it. [censored] him.

You still haven't responded to the Redd comparison.

Or, more for you, how about a Grant Hill comparison? A good friend of mine (UM fan, in fact) loves the Pistons and ripped GH to no end when he left for ORL; then cheered when he kept getting hurt because it was karma; and Hill isn't even from Michigan, nor did he profess to care about the City of Detroit.

The bottom line is that there truly is a thin line between love and hate. And that line is defined by the reciprocation from the other party involved. Cavs' fans loved Lebron James. He didn't return it and basically shat on us on the way out. Now its hate.

Your crusade to defend Lebron and criticize Cleveland fans for having the nerve to be upset is noted and overruled.

so what would happened if LeBron had been drafted by a team in a different state? Would he have been a traitor if he signed with them and played?

You ask the most fucking retarded questions in this thread. Lebron would now be the most hated man in Detroit, Denver, etc if the Cavs hadn't won the lottery that year. In Ohio he would be looked at like Oden, Conley, ET, etc. Cavs fans would now hate, Bosh, Wade, or Melo since those would likely be the player that they had taken.
If you really want to blow your mind think about how things would be different now if Detroit hadn't been retarded and drafted Darko.

1. Cle-Lebron
2. Det-Bosh
3. Den-Melo
4. Tor-Wade
5. Mia-Darko, Kaman, etc. ????

I doubt Miami would have been on the same path that they were this year if Wade hadn't been there for the past 7 years.

The NBA would be completely different had it gone down like that.

exactly.......

I said before the way he went about it was sh1tty. I've never defended his special or "The Decision." That was stupid and he came across like a self absorbed idiot. The only thing I defend is it's HIS right to do whatever he wants and to go play wherever he wants.

At the end of the day these guys are all still millionaires and I highly doubt they care what people on a message board think.

But since I ask such stupid questions, here's another one. I remember reading in one of these threads about people wanting Boozer to come to Cleveland. Why would they want him back after the way he raked Cleveland over the coals in 2004?

In regards to loyalty, I believe Dwight Schrute says it best: "Would I ever leave this company? Look, I'm all about loyalty. In fact, I feel like part of what I'm being paid for here is my loyalty. But if there were somewhere else that valued loyalty more highly, I'm going wherever they value loyalty the most"

You won't see me wanting him here.

No, he would only have been a traitor if he was drafted by another team then didn't sign with Cleveland when he became a free agent.
