Lebron James (Los Angeles Lakers)

Dan Gilbert is covering his own ass for letting the best NBA player (maybe of all time to) to leave his home state. If he would've actually surrounded him with a talent that was capable of taking over a game maybe he wouldn't have left! Jamario Moon, Hickson, Jamison, AV, Williams, West, Z, and a Washed up Shaq is the best you can surround him with? Give me a freaking break!

So the Jamison deal that everyone was happy with at the deadline is a negative now, and the fact that Chris Bosh wouldn't accept a sign and trade that the Cavs and Raptors both agreed upon is also Gilbert's fault? Right.

And that cast was plenty good enough to win a lot of games.

Hell Yea Dan Gilbert. Gilbert should be able to say what he wants to say. [censored] YOU LeBron...

You ain't no king...

What a little bitch dude. I hope his career sucks and he has to crawl his sorry ass back to Ohio and beg for forgiveness. I hope that curse from Cleveland is stuck to him forever and he never wins jack [censored]!

What a little pussy way of doing things. You will never be better than MJ. Because MJ has something you will never have LeBron and that is HEART and LOYALTY.

He probably cost his own state, his own home tons of money and never delivered ANYTHING. I blame it on LeBron not Gilbert.

Whatever...[censored] you LeBron.

I hope the rest of your basketball and some parts of your personal life are a living hell. You have no home anymore...

BTW, who is the dickhead in LeBron's camp who decided to call ESPN's hour special "The Decesion?"...just one extra way to poke the city? Self-fullfilling way to add onto "the" list.

Fuck him.

probably the same assbag that thought it was classy to have lebron call the knicks personally 30 minutes before his show to tell them he was going to miami, but have some lacky nobody knows call the cavs as the words south beach were coming out of lebron's mouth.

you don't return a call or text to your current team's management, all the while playing pickup games with your current teammates in your home town, with cavs coaches and staff with you, making them think you're staying home, and don't even have the fucking courtesy to tell them you're about make them drop the soap in the prison shower on live TV?

This guy has not one ounce of class, or integrity. the fact that he has loyalty and family tatooed on his torso is a joke. someone should go russell crowe from gladiator on those and scratch them off with a jagged rock.

teams with "no talent" do not in 60+ games

ive been saying this for the past years, LeBron just cant get it done.......

he realizes it himself, he doesnt want the pressure of being the man, so he ran off to Miami where he can be the 2nd or 3rd option

So a post on another forum (post had a link) that the Cavs franchise will lose $200 million in value and the Cleveland area will lose $25 million during the NBA season.

I'm sure he still loves the area, but he just gutted it.

All I can do is shake my head at this. BukIpower, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

hahaha I can't appreciate the Billy Madison reference.... I never liked the Jamison Trade. Come on ya'll got to admit, who on the cavs roster the past few years would be able to help carry the load with Lebron!? Jordan Had Pippin, Kobe/Shaq, Wade/Shaq, and Magic had Kareem. I for one am shocked he turned down the money because the modern athlete wouldn't be doing what Lebron is doing. How could he pass on the chance to play with two great players like that? I mean I agree Lebron was either amazing or just medicore during playoff time but make no mistake if you get him one elite talent like a Chris Paul or someone similar to Ray Allen then you got yourself a winner. Sure Cleveland has constantly traded and been aggressive in FA but they haven't signed anyone or traded for anyone that can really be claimed as a statement. Damon Jones? Sasha? a slow and old shaq? Z a few years ago and Mo Williams have been the best to play with Lebron and that's just no good enough. Atleast its no where near what Boston, LA, Orlando, or even a team like Pheonix/Dallas put together. The reason we won a ton of games is because of the division we played in. They were good but we were missing that ONE player to make us Elite. The Cavs Failed, and the way I see it is Lebron would've never left a team had he thought we were capable of winning it all regaurdless of what Bosh/Wade did.

Gilbert is trying to Make Lebron look like he never gave a rats ass about Cleveland and that Gilbert has been there for Cleveland all along. BULL [censored], He's covering himself for failing to convince Lebron. Maybe I should be blaming Danny Ferry instead because I've always thought the construction of last years team especially was just awful.

it was so awful that year they won 66 games. and for some reason, you fall into the category of people that never grasp that not having a true #2 doesn't mean you don't have a very talented team around you.

I'm going to give you a free agent from last year to research. Once you've done proper studying on the case, come back and we can discuss.

Trevor Ariza.

I mean he's right... with how Boston/Miami/Orlando would've dominated the East Lebron would've had to either been super human or gotten someone himself to help with that slate in the East. Had he done it though and brought Cleveland a championship regaurdless of all those top tier teams he would've been viewed even more in Cleveland.

I don't blame Lebron and I actually think a lot of the hatred is unnecessary.

What about Ariza? He goes to the Rockets doesn't come through for them and Instead Artest wins it with the Lakers? We were heavy after him and we didn't get him? what about it? If we would've gotten him I would've shook my head too. Look I'm all for having some of the players we have had we had one other player that we can say "Ok, if Lebron doesn't do it, He can step in for a short time to carry us" We just never had that.

how are people not realizing... THE CAVS HAD THE BEST RECORD IN THE NBA IN THE REGULAR SEASON. LeBron had the pieces, they had a bad series, you dont win that many games without a quality team. The job wasnt finished, and he left... so yeah, he turned his back on the Cavs/City of Cleveland. It's not like they weren't contending and he left... they had a top 3 team in the East, and he was the MVP... and left! So I would say all the outrage is justifiable.

Dude, what's complicated about this?? He commits to the Cavs long-term and free-agents are willing to come to Cleveland. We're not talking about deadline deal trades, but straight-up free agent signings of players who want to play with LeBron.

But who in God's name are you recruiting to Cleveland when LeBron himself refuses to commit to the city. Every potential free agent the Cavs went after balked at coming to Cleveland for fear of being stuck in the city when LeBron bolted.

Even Shaq was traded for, and knew he only had a year on his contract. LeBron has held this team hostage, and now bolts at first opportunity. It's bullshit....but at least he severely tarnished his legacy.

I can't even count how many texts I've gotten from friends across the country saying what a douchebag LeBron is and how they hope he fails. This coming from casual fans of other teams who liked LeBron...no more. And I don't think LeBron realizes how much he will be hated nationally.
