LB Steele Chambers (Official Thread)

Zach Boren type of infusion to the LB corps would be an awesome outcome. Another pic standing over a flattened scum player would be awesome too.

Yes it would.....

Those pictures where an Ohio State players scores on, dominates, and/or beats scUM are always timeless classics.

he was photographed attending an outing linebackers unit, which seemed to all but confirm a position switch...

he was photographed attending a TopGolf outing with the running backs unit.

Just sayin': During this month he attends both the LB and RB team parties......

Glad to hear this. I've always thought Chambers had much more potential at LB. I think he could be a serviceable RB, but was a little stiff and upright to be an elite RB. In any event, I think LB is the right spot for him.

And I think he can make the NFL at LB, if even solely for Special Teams

Snap counts vs Oregon: LINEBACKERS
Teradja Mitchell: 61
Tommy Eichenberg: 38
Cody Simon: 35
Steele Chambers: 9
K’Vaughan Pope: 7
Dallas Gant: 5
Palaie Gaoteote: 4
Cade Kacherski: Special teams only

Just sayin': Appears to be a very good tackler in the open field on the end sweeps. Why didn't he play more vs Oregon?

Because he, like the majority of the other LBs, were lost early in the season. Now that things have simplified a bit, the best athlete at LB is free to make plays. Too bad this couldn’t have been figured out before then.

He's getting better every week. He has the range, instincts, speed and tackling ability you want in a LB. The way he and Simon are growing the future is bright at LB.

Just sayin': Our 2 top recruits (both are 5 Stars) for 2022 are linebackers, i.e. Gabe Powers and CJ Hicks. The future is really bright at LB way beyond 2021.
