Snap counts vs Oregon: LINEBACKERS
Teradja Mitchell: 61
Tommy Eichenberg: 38
Cody Simon: 35
Steele Chambers: 9
K’Vaughan Pope: 7
Dallas Gant: 5
Palaie Gaoteote: 4
Cade Kacherski: Special teams only
Just sayin': Appears to be a very good tackler in the open field on the end sweeps. Why didn't he play more vs Oregon?
What stands out to me is Steele played 9 snaps but had 5 tackles and was named defensive player of the game. I seriously thought he played 30-35 snaps. It sure seemed like it.What stands out to me the most is the guy with 4 reps.

probably that Oregon gameWhere did you hear 9 snaps and 5 tackles?
The info I’ve seen says 7 tackles for the Maryland game. And he played a LOT more than 9 snaps
probably that Oregon game
It says 9 snaps there so I was connecting dots. Picture just didnt come out rightinfo I have says zero tackles ve Oregon
there were 5 tackles vs akron
I should clarify. It stands out to me that he was only in for 4 snaps. Someone as highly sought after as he is, is only able to make it on the field 4 times? What stands out to me is Steele played 9 snaps but had 5 tackles and was named defensive player of the game. Ah! I didn’t realize that was for the Oregon game. Not sure why I was watching MD highlights but looking at Oregon stats. I was confused. SorryWhere did you hear 9 snaps and 5 tackles?

That was the first game he was eligible to play which might have had an impact in that. He should be getting more reps now but probably something else going on as well. Dude should be a monster run stopper in conference play. Steele on one side and Simon on the other would be awesome in 3 backer formations and Hickman still on the field as bullet on coverage or swap out PG in those instances.I should clarify.
