LB Ross Homan (official thread)

This is very good to hear:

http://theozone.net/football/2006/Sp...erentcamps.htm

"Though Heacock says he won't settle on first and second units at all until after spring ball, he did say that a couple of players have caught his eye in the early going.

"Homan looks awfully good. Curtis Terry looked awfully good yesterday," said Heacock on Saturday. "(Austin) Spitler looks great. Spitler had a great off season. He looks good and he's going to be a good football player for us.""

He'll definatly get some playing time this year... If he doesn't start the whole season I don't see anyone keeping him off the field for his last 3 years at OSU. It'd be just like Hawk started out to be honest (lets hope this year is like Hawks first year though). GO BUCKS

I agree.
I see alot of AJ hawk in Ross Homan. (and no, I'm not talking about some secret gay video!) Spielman-like football IQ with superior speed. Not a bad combo.

Homan has been very productive from day one,” Coach Jim Tressel said. “That position is productive in the nature of our defense. Cie Grant was productive, and A.J. Hawk was productive

You sure he plays the "Mike"?
