very excited to see a good friend in scarlet and gray. i think he willl do well for OSU. it would be nice if he could of have his high school number, but that is #25 and pittman has that.

But Pittman is on offense, and you can double up the numbers- one guy on offense, one on defense (one I'd always hear over the announcements is #30 Lydell Ross getting credit for tackles that #30 Sirjo Welch would make on special teams). Does anyone have #25 on defense??

Wanna make $14 the hard way?
I've always thought the upper classmen had first shot at numbers vacated by graduating players. I know the single digit numbers are always in high demand, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a sophmore or junior take #6 & #9. (Like how Will Allen switched from #26 to #4 for his senior year.)
Basically, I'm saying that I agree with OhioState8496 in saying that we probably won't know for sure until the spring game (unless cavball gets some good inside info)!

hes home this week, so he may say if he knows, but i dont think he knows yet. havent talked to him. i just think it would be sweet for him to have #25

that is true, or he could see some time on the offensive side of the ball. i dont think it will happen but you never know
