LB Ross Homan (official thread)

Just got done watching the OSU vs. Wisky game and man can Homan play the run. There were quite a few plays where he went toe to toe with Clay and Hill. I'm looking forward to a big year from Ross.

The big news of the day was that linebacker Ross Homan went down with (yet another) injury. It happened during the 11-on-11 portion of practice and Homan had to be helped off the field with what looked like a leg/foot injury (he was replaced by Andrew Sweat). He was walking around on the sideline but did not participate in the scrimmage. Punter Jon Thoma said afterward that Homan told him he was fine but felt like taking it easy during the scrimmage.

Ross Homan, who hurt his knee in practice Wednesday, played some and looked very good, but was held out of the second half of the scrimmage as a precaution. Brian Rolle was the starting middle linebacker with Etienne Sabino starting on the strongside in Spitler's absence.

Looks like the LB's looked good B. Rolle had 6 tackles, Sabino and Klein had 5. Homan had 5 and a sack and only played the first half.

I don't see him missing any time due to the knee tweak from a couple weeks ago.
