I was basing my observation on Meyer's comments about wanting Borland on the team, which I assumed presupposed the fact that he was athletically gifted enough to actually play for the team, as well as the fact that he was drafted by the 49ers in the 3rd round. As was pointed out, Nick has the opportunity to earn an offer at camp, so its doesn't matter. Hopefully he impresses the coaches because, as might be imagined, I would like to see him in this class.

What a shame about Kurelic leaking this out. Other recruiting people mentioned there may be good news coming and stated they would not report the name of the commit since the recruit had asked that it not be made public until Thursday.

If this is what eventually comes out I will be happy as Conner is a gamer.
