Wonder if they'll use him to rush off the corner like Carp did, or just to back up Schlegel.

No because I believe D'Andrea got his medical redshirt for last season.

But he could still use this year as a normal redshirt and with last year's medical redshirt have two more years of eligibility.

I think he already played some this year anyway. If D'Animal can get healthy Carp not playing, or not being 100% won't hurt quite as much.

Mike hasn't played at all this year.

I looked at the player participation stats for the first five games and he wasn't in there...guess I should've looked at all eleven.

I was at the Indiana game and saw him limp off the field.

BTW, he is absolutley huge compared to Carp, Freeman and Hawk. Just a freak.

Does anyone think that next year, a healthy D'Andrea may have a similar role like Carp this year? I know during the 2004 season before his injury he spent sometime as the "leo". Any thoughts?

I perosnally think he'll be at the mike still. The biggest reason is I remember he had schelegel beat out last year opening day before he got hurt. I see Little Animal holding down carps spot next year but in terms of a lb pass rushing from the line imo, d'andrwa, animal, or freeman could all 3 be capable.

Do you think they will move Freeman over to Will to make room for Little Animal or do you think Freeman will back up Little Animal?
Remember that Freeman would have been playing a fair amount this year along with Carp had Freeman not been injured.
