Well most of my team turned 19 before there sophmore year and this guys a junior.

Some kids graduate high school at 17, and Sabino isn't a junior yet...he'll be a junior when football season rolls around but right now he's still a sophomore.

Based on the things that were said about his performance in Bowl practice and so far this spring, I expect Bino to come much closer to his potential than Freeman did. Freeman was a solid player for us. Something tells me that Bino will be special.

Sophmores in college are 19 going on 20, so he will probably be 20 very soon. I have been waiting for this for about 3 years now, its Binos time to shine. Hopefully we get to see bino lay alot of people out just like what he did to Darryl Stonum.

Well, since he hasn't completed his 2nd year at Ohio State yet I'd say you have been waiting more than your fair share.

Call me crazy, but HOW similar does this feel to Marcus Freeman's time here?

Highly recruited, athletic freak, coming around his junior year, starting to play more 'instinctive.'

Eerie.

No offense to Freeman, but I think that Sabino can be better against the run and rushing the passer than Freeman was.

idk if he will be, but he has tools that Freeman didn't have.

I'm really looking forward to Bino doing work this year and becoming a household name. One a guy nobody even dreamed of landing, it appears his time has come. Hope he makes the best of it, eventually being one of those guys banking checks and playing on sundays. :oh:

My dad and a (former) brother-in-law asked me if I knew about a certain LB from Florida who picked the Buckeyes, way before they knew his name was....

Etienne Sabino.

This kid is a big deal, and he'll finally get to show why. They just saw his announcement video, and they are Saturday fans, but they were pumped.

Big things still to come here.

had no idea the dude was only 19 years old. WOW!!!!!!!!!

If I remember correctly, Sabino graduated from high school and enrolled at tOSU right after he turned 17 (he was academically one year ahead of his high school classmates). Had good vibes about this kid when when we picked him up, and it's great to see him living up to his potential.
