Best of luck to Darron at the next level. A true Buckeye, earned his schollie as a HS QB but recruited to play S, redshirted and bulked up to play OLB. Can blitz like a hear seeking missile and cover in space. He'll be surely missed!images.jpeg

I'll go on record and say I think it's a mistake. He needs more size if he wants to make an immediate impact at the next level. I hope to be proven wrong and that Darron has a long career in the NFL. But it's a production league and you see time and time again that teams will cast a guy off if he doesn't produce early.

I have faith in Darron's work ethic and character though so he has a chance to overcome some of those limitations.

Pretty much the same size as Shazier, who got a guaranteed $9M 1st-round contract and has 80 tackles, 3 sacks in his pro sophomore season. This is today's NFL linebacker - so I expect him to do well.
